Our Camping Spots

Moreton Island Caravan accommodation operates in 2 camping zones.  North West Camping Zone and Comboyuro Point Camping Zone. Both of these zones are on the western side of Moreton island and all are waterfront positions. Some are right on the beach and others are slightly back with a track to the beach. Both zones allow camp fires unless a fire ban is issued. 

North west Camping Zone

This is by far the most popular of the Moreton Island camping areas with 76 camping sites spread out from just south of Cowan township to the Bulwer bypass. A lot have beautiful water views and are private.

Campfires are allowed and generators. In peak times it can be hard to get a spot here, there is a couple of spots that are hidden from view and this is were local knowledge comes in.

You will be guaranteed we will have a great spot with our caravan waiting for you when you arrive. 

Comboyuro Point Camping Zone

47 camp sites are located here and are spread out over a large area. Parks have provided toilets, cold showers, chemical toilet disposal and water for campers. Camp fires are permitted.

This area of Moreton Island has lots of trees for shade and walking tracks to the beach. 

The camping area is not far from the township of Bulwer and if you need any supplies or want a takeaway, this makes it popular.
